The Kelleys Island Games were started in May of 2007 by 7 graduates of the  University of Akron.  As many of you already know Kelleys Island is where the magic happens and it just makes sense to have a set of games to test an individuals athletic and mental abilities during a marathon of drinking.

These Games were The Idea of Rick Gorski.  Rick has a small place on the island which is used as "Home Base" for the festivities.  The idea of these games is to test an individuals athletic, mental, and drinking abilities during a long marathon of drinking.  

For the Inaugural K.I Games There were originally 20 events planned to take place over a 3 day period.  It occurred to us that there was just not enough time to finish all 20 events.  We had to condense these events down to 12.  Action will be taken to make sure all 20 events will be included in the next K.I Games.
